SPECIAL REGISTRATION INCENTIVES:
Senior High School and Undergraduate / Graduate Student:Student incentives are available to support 125 students who graduated from or are in attendance at a high school in Hawai`i. Students who demonstrate passion and interest in joining the conservation field will be eligible for a $50 deluxe conference registration rate.
Pacific Islanders:
Up to 25 individuals employed in non-profit conservation related organizations with citizenship from and based in the Pacific Islands small island developing countries (within Polynesia, Melanesia, Micronesia) will be eligible for complimentary registration to the 20th Hawaii Conservation Conference. Participants must provide their own travel expenses, in-country press release noting their participation before HCC, or <2 page summary on lessons learned. Email director@hawaiiconservation.org to register on a "first come first serve" basis.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The Hawai‘i Conservation Conference organizing committee has arranged special conference rates at the following properties: Outrigger Ala Moana Hotel is located across the street from the Hawai‘i Convention Center and adjacent to the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Rates are $115 for the Kona Tower, and $139 for the Waikiki Tower, single/double occupancy, extra persons is $40. Rates are subject to Hawai‘i State Taxes of 13.962%. Rates are valid 3 nights prior or post, based on availability. Cut-off date to make reservations is June 30, 2012. Credit card deposit of one-night will be due at the time of booking a reservation.
